Neil Gerber
After a four year stint at a Gas Turbine manufacturer, Neil joined a very early-stage startup. In his 12 years there, Neil progressed to CEO of the company, overseeing its rapid growth and subsequent sale to an engineering multinational. This experience, building simulators of power plants and other industrial facilities for training and control system verification purposes, instilled a strong respect for the benefits and pitfalls of creating and maintain complex physics- based models. Subsequently Neil went to IBM and spent 14 years in their Energy & Utilities global team. Among other duties, he led two internal growth initiatives sponsored by the company’s executive leadership to build advanced IT solutions for asset-intensive industries. Neil then went to Oracle for 2 years, working in a newly-created industry team as the Utility Industry Director. This experience provided Neil with a strong view for the need to more deeply integrate Company’s financial systems and processes with the operational parts of the business. He is excited to launch this new venture with Greg and Scott to revisit his start-up roots and help solve some of the vexing problems he has seen over the years. .Scott Stallard
Scott has over 40 years of experience in asset management, advanced analytics, industrial AI, and consulting serving a wide range of customers and industries. Neil Gerber
After a four year stint at a Gas Turbine manufacturer, Neil joined a very early-stage startup. In his 12 years there, Neil progressed to CEO of the company, overseeing its rapid growth and subsequent sale to an engineering multinational. This experience, building simulators of power plants and other industrial facilities for training and control system verification purposes, instilled a strong respect for the benefits and pitfalls of creating and maintain complex physics- based models. Subsequently Neil went to IBM and spent 14 years in their Energy & Utilities global team. Among other duties, he led two internal growth initiatives sponsored by the company’s executive leadership to build advanced IT solutions for asset-intensive industries. Neil then went to Oracle for 2 years, working in a newly-created industry team as the Utility Industry Director. This experience provided Neil with a strong view for the need to more deeply integrate Company’s financial systems and processes with the operational parts of the business. He is excited to launch this new venture with Greg and Scott to revisit his start-up roots and help solve some of the vexing problems he has seen over the years. .Scott Stallard
Scott has over 40 years of experience in asset management, advanced analytics, industrial AI, and consulting serving a wide range of customers and industries. He has a passion for leveraging technologies, domain expertise, and innovation to realize additional business value from assets -- whether that be from improved operations and performance, enhanced reliability, or reshaping the asset portfolio itself. Scott has developed and commercialized a wide range of technical performance, strategic planning, and AI-driven diagnostics solutions and has also served as CTO in two specialized technology startups. These experiences drove Scott to appreciate the need for agile and adaptive decision support systems when it comes to analyzing the myriads of potential actions, investments, situations, asset positions, and market turbulence. Opportunities to leverage his skills and experiences, along with those of Neil and Greg, in concert with truly game changing AI, simulation, and cloud-based exploration led Scott to join in this exciting venture. .Greg McKim
Gregory’s career journey started in Aerospace and Defense, when he was a rocket scientist designing thermal protection schemes for the Titan Centaur upper stage cryogenic launch vehicle. Using his knowledge of heat transfer and thermodynamics, he joined a small startup with Neil, building Operator Training Simulators for power plants. This is where he learned the critical importance of being able to mesh highly technical engineering domains, with the experiences and stories as told by operators that were his customers. He then spent a 14-year stint as solution architect, CTO, and data and AI director at Fortune 500 companies, serving Energy and Utility clients. Having never forgotten how rewarding it is to work at a startup that delivers value and satisfaction to clients, he decided to team with Neil and Scott to build a new venture atop their combined experiences.
